A place name such as Wilkasy can become the beginning of a useful learning question. I am interested in what people notice about familiar surroundings when they are given time to look carefully. That is the theme I associate with [Wilkasy local discovery](https://wilkasy.edu.pl). A shared route, an old photograph, or a small change can offer something to compare and explain. I like projects that reveal a new detail behind a recognizable name rather than treating the place as a label with no further context.
